I’ve compiled my “Top Picks” of some FREE online productivity tools for the “mobile office” designed to make your life a little easier while out of the office. There are more, however the ones I selected are free (with upgrades to more features for a price on some).

Create and share your work online and access your documents from anywhere. You can easily do all the basics, including making bulleted lists, sorting by columns, adding tables, images, comments, formulas, changing fonts and more. It accepts most popular file formats, including DOC, XLS, ODT, ODS, RTF, CSV, PPT, etc.
This electronic (or digital) signature service is one of the most convenient way to legally sign a document. Takes away the need to scan, fax, print or mail documents that need to be signed. Ideal for freelancers, realtors, and sales people in the field! Also available as a mobile App.

Personal Organizers
Todoist features a simple and intuitive interface that helps you get organized. Set due dates on your tasks and get overview over what needs to get done today, tomorrow or next week. You can structure your tasks in any way you like. Features include reminders, Gmail integration, Mobile access, Outlook integration, Browser plugins, and more.
Share your schedule with your staff and co-workers and access the calendar on your mobile phone or computer. You can get reminders via email or text so you’ll never miss an appointment. Also free with Yahoo! Calendar.
It stands for “If This Then That”. It’s a task management tool, and the concept behind ifttt is that it helps you create tasks based on the simple concept of “if this happens then do that”. There is a whole host of channels that ifttt supports – from social networks to email and everything in between.
Virtual Phone
With Google Voice you get a single phone number that rings all of your phones, saves your voicemail online, and transcribes your voicemail to text. Other cool features include the ability to listen in on messages while they’re being left, block unwanted callers, and make cheap international calls.
Free Skype-to-Skype calling and free video calling, with instant messaging, call forwarding, voice mail, and file sharing features. Low rates and subscriptions for calls to phone lines or mobile phones.
